Baptist Progress to Present Amy Douglas in Concert at 2023 BMA of Texas Meeting in Rowlett

Baptist Progress is pleased to present Amy Douglas in concert Monday night. Amy began singing at a very young age and had always felt it was a just a part of who she was. As she grew, she understood how powerful songs could be to convey messages and offer encouragement to listeners.

As a songwriter, Amy released her debut album self-titled Amy Douglas in 1999 and followed that with another in 2001. It would be nine years before she produced another titled Heart of Courage inspired by God’s faithfulness through ups and downs of her life experiences. This album featured a song dedicated to all those in the US military and their families.

For nearly 30 years, she has continued to minister through music in her church and in other venues spreading the truth, love and hope of God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Amy is married to Jared Douglas who is the senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Red Oak.
