About Us
Our History
Baptist Progress is the informing and equipping ministry of the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas. Our purpose is to promote interest in missions, evangelism, benevolence and Christian education among the churches of the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas. Our offices are located in the BMA of Texas Building at 632 Farley Street in Waxahachie.
The publication was started in 1912. There have been 18 editors, with the current editor being Jerry Fulton. Baptist Progress is published every third Wednesday. Between issues, email subscribers receive the e-News Update containing news and information. Baptist Progress is responsible for managing the BMA of Texas website, www.bmatexas.org, as well as our own website, www.baptistprogress.org. We also offer Ministry Connection Workshops and other resources. The ministry of Baptist Progress is funded by churches of the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas and individual subscribers. |
