Apply by May 31st, 2023 for full consideration. Jacksonville College was founded in 1899, and is affiliated with the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. Every year, BMA Pastors who register their church to participate in Lifeword Sunday are entered into a drawing for the Lifeword Sunday grand prize. Jennifer Harrell, Lifeword’s Director of Church Connections, was pleased to announce that the 2023 prize will be an iPad Pro. “We are so excited about Lifeword Sunday, 2023,” said Harrell, “and I am excited to share that we will be awarding an iPad Pro to one of our registering BMA Pastors. This is a tool that can really enhance their ministry. We love being a blessing to our BMA Pastors.”
Lifeword Sunday will be on October 22, 2023, and the theme is “Share Jesus. Make Disciples. Everywhere.” This reflects the digital discipleship effort Lifeword has been developing for the past two years, called Follow. As a video-based discipleship guide, “Follow” will help those who have come to Christ through Lifeword content to become disciples of Jesus. “Our ultimate goal is to make disciples and connect them with a local church,” said Harrell. “Follow will be a discipleship tool that BMA church members can easily use on their hand-held device. We believe it will be a game changer for the ministry of Lifeword and for our BMA churches!” Lifeword will be introducing “Follow” at this year’s BMA National Meeting. Pastors can register their church and sign up for the iPad Pro giveaway at the Lifeword booth during this year’s National Meeting in Conway. Churches can also register for the event and for the Pastor’s giveaway at www.lifewordsignup.com. Lifeword will send each BMA church a Lifeword Sunday informational packet in August.
