The 2023 edition of the BMA Reports and Recommendations are available for viewing and download from the BMAA website bmaamerica.org/nationalmeeting. Along with all of the information concerning the national meeting on April 25-27, 2023, at the Antioch Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas, churches may now read, print or download a copy of the reports and recommendations from the national departments and committees in order to be ready to consider this business at the upcoming meeting.
Posting the information on the BMA website has offered simplified and much more economical means of distributing these reports to the churches and messengers of the BMA. In the past few years, the BMA Minute and Meeting Fund has saved literally tens of thousands of dollars by taking advantage of this technology.
However, the church support of the meeting expense fund is still vital to the funding of the national meeting. Various committee and meeting expenses are still underwritten by this fund, so it remains critical that churches continue to contribute to the meeting expense fund. You will notice in the report from the associational recording clerks that the fund is currently overdrawn from the expenses of the past two years, so please respond to this need.
Just The Crumbs (JTC) is responding to the tornadoes that destroyed so much property and took so many lives last night in Mississippi. JTC will be first going to Amory, Mississippi and work in that area. JTC is setting up at East Amory Baptist Church, a BMA church. From there, JTC will possibly move on to Rolling Fork, Mississippi where there was so much devastation. Amory was hit hard and JTC felt the need to help people in BMA churches first. Donations are being accepted and volunteers are welcome. Contact JTC at 10 Wagon Trail, Sumrall, MS, United States, Mississippi, 601-522-6055 or email@example.com. To donate to BMA partnering with Just the Crumbs, or to volunteer, contact Angela Rice at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the BMA Missions Office at 501-455-4977.
