Our purpose is to promote interest in missions, evangelism, benevolence and Christian education among the churches of the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas. Our offices are located in the BMA of Texas Building at 632 Farley Street in Waxahachie.
The publication was started in 1912. There have been 18 editors, with the current editor being Jerry Fulton. Baptist Progress is published every first and third Wednesday. Between issues, email subscribers receive the e-News Update containing news and information. Also, Ministry Connection a weekly email newsletter for church leaders and Christ followers is sent to pastors and email subscribers. Baptist Progress is responsible for managing the BMA of Texas website, www.bmatexas.org, as well as our own website, www.baptistprogress.org. We also offer an every Sunday bulletin service. A large selection of sizes, styles and quantities are available. Bulletins are delivered to your door each quarter—enough bulletins for each Sunday of the quarter. To order, visit www.bmatexas.org.
