Letter from the President

Michael Pool

​“One Heart” is our theme this year. As I prayed on this theme, I could not help but think about the division we see in our country and in the world today, and how Satan uses it to tear apart relationships, families and even our churches. Yet, I was also reminded of how blessed we are. Each church, each ministry, each department, every director and staff member—together we have formed a strong, united ministry for many years.

When we look back, we see the faithful men and women who worked side by side to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ. Today, we continue that mission as we carry out the Great Commission in our communities and through the unique ministries God has given us. We do this not in competition with each other, but in unity, knowing we are stronger together.

This year, my challenge to you is to lift one another up. Be present for each other. Support one another. And together, let us pursue the same goal of reaching the lost for Jesus Christ. Though Satan will always try to divide us, we serve a God who has already won.

Thank you for your daily faithfulness and for standing strong for our God. Please keep our upcoming meeting in your prayers, and I look forward to being with you next month.
