West and Erickson to Speak at 2024 Leadership Conference

The annual BMA of Texas Leadership Conference, to be held in conjunction with the 2024 Baptist Missionary Association of Texas Meeting in Jacksonville, will be focused on biblical mentoring and will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19. Todd West will interview Dr. Steve Crawley, executive director of BMA Financial Services, who has led a movement mentoring over 200 men in recent years. He will also share a few of his own experiences discussing the practical steps of recruiting and mentoring. This will be a transparent discussion that will share the joys and struggles of making disciples. 

Also, Dr. David Erickson, president of Jacksonville College will be discussing how leaders can raise up the next generation of ministers and leaders in our churches. He will talk about the essential role that churches have in that process, the need for seasoned leaders and pastors to pour into the rising generation, the role of higher education in training leaders, and how internships can bring all these together.

The conference will take place in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville. It is sponsored by BMA Texas Missions.
