Please allow me, Texas Sunbeam Promoter Elvera Koonce, to personally invites church families of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders to attend the 2024 Sunbeam House Party. Please consider this wholesome Christian event from 5 p.m., Friday, June 28, until a noon luncheon on Saturday, June 29 at Jacksonville College. In regards to the activities, the Jacksonville College SUB will become a life-size Candy Land environment. As the children follow the Candy Land-like path, they will encounter Bible lesson presentations, singing, games, crafts, a European Mission lesson, dinner and snacks, as well as, lots and lots of prizes and give-a-ways. I forgot to mention fun, fun, fun! Please, please consider this event. There is a $15 fee to cover expenses. For more information, please contact me at [email protected] or [email protected] for Dera Moy. An RSVP is appreciated for planning.    ​

Our friends from Just The Crumbs/BMA Disaster Relief has set up in Cleveland to respond to the floods that have been happening in that area. They have served 275 meals just after setting up. People were waiting for them. Many people are sleeping in their cars due to flooding and have to wade through water to get to their houses.

Please be in prayer for Just the Crumbs (JTC) as they serve in the area.They are set up and serving meals in two areas--First Baptist Church and at the mayors house in a town nearby.

They are in great need of some supplies:
cutlery setups
three compartment to go plates
Large cans of vegetables
dry staples like rice, beans, and potato
Any meat
Bread

Volunteers are needed.

Recently, we mailed information to every BMA of Texas church concerning our Anniversary Offering which we will receive in June. Baptist Progress is celebrating 112 years of ministry this year! Usually, we request $1 for every year of ministry we are celebrating. However, donations this year are not meeting our budgetary needs. We are way behind on donations.

Therefore, we are asking churches to receive a special offering this year to help us catch up. Typically, our Anniversary Offering totals around $10,000. But we have set a loftier goal of $20,000 in mind for this year’s offering.
