Jerry Fulton is editor and business manager of Baptist Progress. A native of Mexia, Texas, Bro. Fulton is a two time graduate of the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary. An ordained minister, Bro. Fulton has been involved in full-time vocational ministry for 17 years. Prior to his election as editor, he was pastor of Lost Prairie Baptist Church, Groesbeck, Texas; University Baptist Church, Nacogdoches, Texas; and Sheppard Drive Baptist Church, Euless, Texas. He also served as the director of ministry development at the Texas Baptist Home for Children in Waxahachie, Texas.
Bro. Fulton is active in Baptist life currently serving his first term as president of the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas. Prior to being elected as president, he served two terms as first vice president, and three non-consecutive terms as second vice president. Bro. Fulton served on the board of trustees for the BMA of Texas Department of Church Ministries, Association of Baptist Students at Stephen F. Austin State University, and the Baptist Book Center. He and his wife, Cassie, make their home in Waxahachie.
Bro. Fulton has spoken in approximately 100 churches and preached numerous revivals and conferences. He is available to speak to your church, auxiliary, or special age group concerning the ministries of Baptist Progress and the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas.
