Your Priceless Gifts

By JASON CURRY
President, TBHC
As we step into a brand-new fiscal year, I cannot help but pause and say thank you. Our churches have stood with us from the very beginning, and because of your faithfulness, children’s lives are being changed every single day.

When I look back, one thing stands out: our staff’s commitment. They do not have to work at TBHC, yet they show up day after day, giving their lives away to glorify God by caring for children. Their investment mirrors yours—sacrificial, steadfast and rooted in love.

Looking ahead, I am excited about expansion. We are opening doors to serve more kids in your communities, your neighborhoods, your backyards. This is not just growth; it is survival. Without expansion, we cease to exist. With it, the future is bright for children who need hope and healing.

Can you put a price tag on your gift? I cannot. How do you measure the value of a young man walking through our doors, offering a firm handshake, saying, “Sir, I came to see if you need a roof repaired. Oh, and by the way, my name is on the Trees of Love—I was adopted here.” That is the fruit of your generosity.

As we begin this new fiscal year, I need to ask for something bold: pray for families to rise up. Financial gifts matter, but opening your home to a child is life changing. It is a courageous “yes.”

And as Proverbs 31:8 (NKJV) reminds us: “Open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die.”

These children cannot speak for themselves—but you can. Help us give boys and girls courageous voices in adulthood. To know their identity is found in belonging to Jesus.

This is the year to challenge your church: care for kids in your neighborhood who need a place to call home. When you answer that call, you step into the very heart of God’s will. Thank you for letting us stand with you to accomplish the church’s mission. Let us make this year one of bold faith and action—together.
