JACKSONVILLE COLLEGE
What began in 1899 as a dream to create a “Missionary Baptist College” led to generation after generation of Jacksonville College graduates carrying the torch of faith across Texas, throughout America and to the far corners of our world. Today, our mission burns brighter than ever: a Jesus-centered community of higher education preparing students for lives of learning, work and service. As we move forward into the future, we also take inspiration from the past.
 
Coming Full Circle
This year we returned to our founding vision as a four-year institution by launching our Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry. This milestone marks just the beginning of an ambitious journey—to expand our bachelor’s degree offerings and become a comprehensive four-year college once again!

Faithful Stewardship
From humble beginnings in a single building, Jacksonville College has grown to become a campus of more than 25 buildings. In the last year we were able to invest $1.5 million into campus renewal—breathing new life into two dormitories and two classroom buildings, along with fully renovating the chapel that stands at the heart of our college community.

Explosive Growth
We are thrilled by the number of students choosing Jacksonville College. Our traditional college student enrollment has skyrocketed from 191 last year to an amazing 312 this year. Our dormitories tell an even more exciting story: jumping from 121 to a record-breaking 196 on-campus residents. Yes, we are wonderfully stretched, but we have watched God provide for our students through His faithful people!

Training the Whole Person
Since its earliest years, Jacksonville College has celebrated the truth that we serve God with our whole being. Our reestablished JC Singers fill the campus with praise, while our 10 athletic teams pursue competition with character and excellence. We are committed to helping every student discover and develop the gifts and talents God has given them.
 
RISING TO THE MOMENT
Never has our nation needed what Jacksonville College offers more desperately. We are called to this moment in history—to nurture young hearts in God’s unchanging truth and to help them build their lives founded on biblical principles like love and virtue. Through your amazing support and generous hearts, we are not just building a college – we are shaping the leaders and servants our world desperately needs.
