Prayer at TBHC: A Vital Part of Our Mission

President, TBHC
Prayer continues to guide everything we do at TBHC. Our faith in God’s leading isn’t just important—it’s essential to how we care for children. As we courageously change for the sake of those we serve, one conviction God has laid on my heart is this: public prayer must be understood as vital, not optional. It’s part of our testimony. It’s part of our mission.

We want to invite you to join us in prayer—not just as a formality, but as a bold act of faith. It’s an honor to lead people who aren’t content with simply doing their best, but who are willing to call on an eternal God to intervene in the lives of children, in our own lives, and in the moments when hope feels out of reach.
And yet, because of God’s intervention, we’re continually reminded: He is in control. Psalm 25:4–5 says, “Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.”

Starting this December, TBHC will host quarterly prayer services—with you in mind. These gatherings will be a sacred space to lift up our children, our staff, the families yet to come, and to celebrate the provision of God for a work that is close to His heart. Our first public prayer service is set for Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., in the chapel in Waxahachie—and we’ll stream it live on Facebook too. I hope you’ll join us as we seek God’s guidance and blessing over the mission He’s entrusted to us.

Let’s pray together. Let’s believe together. And let’s keep trusting the One who never fails.
