Update from his daughter, Tammie Davis:

My dad James Schoenrock tested negative for meningitis and was released into the care of Cheyenne Medical Lodge for rehabilitation and recovery from a diabetic coma. While he is extremely weak and fatigued, we are prayerful that over the weeks ahead, he will gain back his strength through physical therapy and much needed rest and will fully recover from pneumonia. They are keeping a watchful eye over his blood pressure and glucose levels.

We are so thankful he is being cared for in a special place where they know him well. My mother spent her final days there and his sister Joyce Schoenrock Morgan is nearby recovering from a fall. Given his current condition, we ask for very limited visitation so that he can get the rest he needs.
