San Angelo Flood Relief Continues

It has been over a month since the massive flooding across the state of Texas. A lot has been done in way of relief for those impacted in July, but the work is far from complete. The BMA Disaster Relief team from Just the Crumbs (JTC) ministry has been on the ground in San Angelo since the beginning and has made a huge impact on the community alongside Grace Temple Baptist Church, San Angelo.

​Hope in Action: Moldova 2025

This July, a team of our dedicated staff and trustees traveled to Moldova as part of TBHC’s ministry, Compassionate Hope International. Throughout the week, our team encountered children, mothers and families in deeply vulnerable situations. Whether in transition homes, orphanages, refugee camps or summer Bible programs, each interaction was an opportunity to affirm dignity, speak life and offer tangible hope.

Leaving a Legacy

After 126 years, Jacksonville College has a campus where many people have left a legacy. As you walk across campus you see names like Anderson, Orr, Collins, Buckner, Norman, Little, Meadows, and Carroll. Each one represents a legacy. Some left a legacy by investing years of their lives into educating young people at Jacksonville College.

Ministry Spotlight: Crossroads Church

A nasty ditch full of trash and debris from a tornado. A daycare flooded by a massive sewage leak and the 50 kids who have nowhere to go for the summer. Elderly couples who have no way to take care of their overgrown yards. School support staff who are not budgeted to get Christmas bonuses because of the nature of their work.

Kellar Library Celebrates 60 Years

On July 22, the Baptist Missionary Association (BMA) Theological Seminary celebrated 60 years of its Gerald D. Kellar Memorial Library. Multiple speakers talked about the history and significance of Kellar Library. The Honorable Randy Gorham, mayor of Jacksonville, presented a city proclamation naming July 22 as Kellar Library Day.

A Covenant of Salt

The 2025 Texas Women’s Retreat is in the books. It was a blessed time of worship, ending with the ladies in attendance coming together in a ‘covenant of salt’ with the Lord: thanking Him for the enduring and unbreakable nature of his relationship with us, recommitting to obedience to Him in purity and holiness, friendship and hospitality, and as the salt of the earth.

BMA Global Celebrates 75th Anniversary with Missionary Reunions
