President, TBHC

This July, a team of our dedicated staff and trustees traveled to Moldova as part of TBHC’s ministry, Compassionate Hope International. Throughout the week, our team encountered children, mothers and families in deeply vulnerable situations. Whether in transition homes, orphanages, refugee camps or summer Bible programs, each interaction was an opportunity to affirm dignity, speak life and offer tangible hope. The team did not just visit -- they listened, prayed, encouraged and served with open hands and open hearts.

Upon returning one of our longstanding staff said, “This was a dream come true trip for me and I will never forget the impact it had on me!”

In every setting, the message was clear: you are seen, you are loved, and you are not alone. From crafting with young girls to sharing stories with single mothers, from dancing with children to praying with refugees, the team embodied the compassion and hope that define our mission.

This trip reminded us that healing does not always come in grand gestures — it often begins in quiet conversations, shared meals and simple gifts. It grows in the soil of trust, nurtured by presence and prayer.
We are deeply grateful for the hearts of our team and the support of our community, which makes this ministry possible. Please continue to pray for the children, mothers and leaders in Moldova — and for the seeds of hope that were planted to flourish in the days ahead.
